Québec’s Réseau des SADC (Sociétés d’aide au développement des collectivités) et CAE (Centres d’aide aux entreprises) are unveiling the Road to Entrepreneurship, a new website aimed at guiding entrepreneurs at every step of their journey and referring them to the business advisors of their local SADC or CAE who know the issues and realities of their region.

“Entrepreneurs often have difficulty finding their way through the panoply of consulting services offered on the web. The Road to Entrepreneurship finally offers a reliable, unbiased, and most importantly, local expertise that refers the entrepreneur to the directory of SADCs and CAEs and to our business advisors. These professionals are well rooted in their communities and have been forming a vast national network of expertise for 40 years. They also know about all the resources available,” says Vallier Daigle, chair of the Réseau des SADC et CAE.

Whether the entrepreneur wants to buy an existing small business or take over the reins of the family business, or they are looking for advice on how to grow, finance or even sell their business, the Road to Entrepreneurship offers practical advice and tools at every stage of the business project. It offers a unique bank of content that gives a 360-degree approach to entrepreneurial issues. Tips from other entrepreneurs like them will also be added soon.

Bringing together the entrepreneurial expertise of Québec’s SADCs and CAEs

The Road to Entrepreneurship is also a place to share the expertise of our 1,000 professionals and volunteers across the province. Tips and tricks applied in one region of Québec can easily be shared elsewhere. This is why the platform offers entrepreneurs various downloadable practical tools such as a business plan template, a self-evaluation grid for sustainable development practices or a working capital calculation grid, specifically developed by our members for small businesses. The site contains blogs related to various aspects of entrepreneurship, based on the hands-on experience of our professionals.

Pascal Harvey, Executive Director of the Réseau des SADC et CAE, invites all entrepreneurs to consult The Road to Entrepreneurship. “This site is for you, and it reflects the simple and efficient approach we take with our clients who don’t always have time to search for the best solutions for their projects. We care about your success and are here to guide you.”
