The CAEHM is involved in various economic projects in the communities it serves. Setting up activities and tools that promote the development and sustainability of local projects is what local economic development is all about.

Here is an overview of our partnerships and their initiatives.

Tourisme Haut-Richelieu

The CAEHM entered into an agreement with Tourisme Haut-Richelieu to provide substantial assistance to businesses working in the tourism sector. Thanks to Tourisme Haut-Richelieu’s expertise and the financial resources offered by the CAEHM, many businesses have received more comprehensive support.

Chambre de commerce et d’industrie du Haut-Richelieu

The CAEHM provided the CCIHR’s Aile Jeunesse (youth wing) with assistance in its project to launch a support cohort for young entrepreneurs.

Working in partnership with the City of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, the Canada Français newspaper and the CCIHR, the CAEHM also contributed to the launch and rollout of the Commandez local (order local) initiative.

Roussillon MRC

The CAEHM assisted the Roussillon RCM with a pilot project to help the RCM’s businesses get set up online. The aid made it easier for the beneficiary businesses to obtain professional support in making the digital transition.

Did you know

  • The Lumière sur l’entrepreneuriat event attracts nearly 30 sponsors and partners.

The CAEHM hosts the annual Lumière sur l’entrepreneuriat (spotlight on entrepreneurship) gala, which celebrates the tenacity and determination of the brave entrepreneurs who launched a business the previous year. Hundreds of guests gather to meet the new entrepreneurs and learn about their projects.

The CAEHM is also a partner of various entrepreneurship-related events, such as the Ose Entreprendre Challenge, which awards significant cash prizes for projects that will stimulate Quebec’s economy.
