Help build a greener future by taking part in the Virage Vert (green transition) Program implemented by the SADC and CAE with Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions. Get access to specialized expertise to help improve your environmental and economic performance or get support for the launch of collective sustainable development (SD) projects.

The Centre d’Aide aux Entreprises Haute-Montérégie (CAEHM) has free funding that lets you use the services of a consultant or get specialized sustainable development guidance (non-refundable contribution).

This program aims to stimulate the greening of the regional ecosystem by supporting businesses and organizations in their structured local economic development projects involving sustainable development.

The projects must have one of the following priorities:

  • Waste management and processes optimization
  • Energy consumption and efficiency optimization
  • Shipping optimization
  • Environmentally responsible procurement
  • Carbon footprint and greenhouse gas emission reduction
  • Sustainable business model
  • Industrial symbiosis and circular economy
  • Eco-design
  • Awareness-raising, mobilization and training on SD issues and opportunities

The projects must have one of the following priorities:

  • Private businesses, cooperatives, non-profit organizations (NPOs) and social economy enterprises
  • 200 employees or less, making less than $2M in sales (some exceptions may apply)
  • The business must have its main office in the territory covered by the Centre d’aide aux entreprises Haute-Montérégie

Terms

  • Technical assistance projects must have a sustainable development theme
  • Technical assistance projects must be delivered by specialized external resources with recognized expertise in providing advice and support on issues related to sustainable development

Eligible contribution

  • The contribution aims to provide advice and guidance to businesses that need strategic technical support to improve their environmental performance (contribution applicable to the consultant’s professional fees).

Project submission

  • Before December 15, 2023
  • Provide the services of select specialized resources (consultants) to carry out the project
